Candidate FAQs

I've never used a staffing service before. How does it work?

At MyStaf, we build lasting relationships with the best companies around Wichita Falls. Our staff will take the time to get to know you, keep in contact with you to discuss any new opportunities, and send your resume to the jobs that are the best match for you. It’s all confidential and there’s no fees to the candidate. If you would like to discuss available job opportunities, call or stop by MyStaf today.

What do I need to bring with me to apply?

We strongly recommend bringing identification to meet Form I-9 requirements. Most people apply with a photo ID and social security card or birth certificate. A complete list of acceptable forms of identification can be found here.

We also encourage applicants to bring certifications, resumes, or any other supporting documents they feel will increase their likelihood of receiving a job offer!

Is there a dress code for work?

Every job is different, but as a rule, we strongly encourage people to make an effort.

How fast will I start working after my interview?

Your start date for an assignment is entirely dependent on the position you’re applying for and the schedule that we maintain with our customers. Remember, we don’t get paid if you don’t, so we REALLY want to get you working!

What qualifications do I have to have?

Every position is different. We have entry-level to senior management positions. We encourage our applicants to review the qualification requirements list in our job postings. Believe it or not, the most highly coveted “qualification” requested by our customers is “a positive attitude” and “strong work ethic.”

When is payday?

Timesheets are due on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Employees receive their paycheck every Thursday following the week worked.

If I can't make it to work, what should I do?

If you must miss an assignment, we require advance notice so we can get your shift covered and notify your employer. Calling us at the last minute puts us in an impossible position. If you cannot make your scheduled shift, call our office. Preferably the day before your next scheduled shift.

How do I apply for a job through MyStaf?

There are many ways to apply. The easiest way is to send your resume directly through our website, apply to any of our online postings, or simply walk in our front door. You can also contact our office to schedule an appointment to meet with a staffing coordinator. If you have already spoken to one of our staffing coordinators, please contact them directly with your resume to have it updated in our system.

Will I be charged a fee to use your service?

Never! MyStaf services are free to our candidates. You will not be charged anything upon application or when placed by MyStaf.
